The latest lecture was about the use of last generation sensors in automatized industrial processes and was held in the Centro Politécnico Superior de Zaragoza and organized by the Departament of Sistems and Automatics (Escuela Superior de Ingenieros).

The endoscopic pill as a diagnosis method:
This system of diagnosis for the intestine is based on a capsule that contains a microcamera. This capsule is swallowed by the patient and gives video images in colors while it travels along the digestive tube. The capsule emits video signals that are stored in the receiver, that is a vest with an image recorder and an integrated tree of antenna to send and receive data. It is the most advanced system in the market, as it allows to monitor in real time and send and receive commands and parameters with the intelligent pill. Once the exploration is finished, the pill is expulsed by natural means.
